Pro-tukipiste provides practical support to people who earn income from selling sex. Some of our customers have been victims of criminal trafficking in human beings. Many of the people we meet suffer from financial and health problems and loneliness. Due to isolation, people are not aware of their opportunities and have no visions of a better future.
Fear and shame are obstacles that can be overcome. Joint action and a sense of inclusion are the keys to wellbeing. We have learned that small actions can have a major impact.
Empowering group activities and everyday support
Group activities help us discover ways to improve safety and wellbeing together. People in the group can share their competence and be respected for who they are. Timely advice and support with everyday issues prevent the escalation of problems. Receiving accurate information and having a discussion in a safe environment carry you forward in life and help you make room for future plans.

Pro-tukipiste is an organization founded in 1990 with around twenty professionals in social welfare and health care. The target groups of Pro-tukipiste are people working in the sex and erotic industry who need support services and the victims of criminal trafficking in human beings. The organization has service units in Helsinki, Tampere and Turku.
